A few years ago, I bought some "skin sticks" from a friend's Perfectly Posh party, they're basically just shea butter and essential oils in a giant lip balm container. I forgot about them and they sat in a drawer with a bunch of other beauty products. I have been buying and using doTERRA essential oils for a little over a year now and my kids love to make kid-safe "potions" for their various ailments but I never felt great about traditional roll-ons and kids. They always seem to make a mess and I don't want them to apply too much. I came across the skin sticks again last November (we have one for sleep, one for itchy skin and another that just smells nice) and decided to make kid-safe versions for things we need. Common complaints are "I'm itchy", "I can't sleep" and "___ hurts". I initially made a catch-all blend of frankincense and lavender, it smells great, it's soothing and since I can control how much oil is in there, I don't get worried when they ask to apply on their own. My daughter is a thumb sucker and gets dry chapped hands during the winter, this blend cleared it up in just a few days. Magic! Over the last few months I've been testing different formulas and I am so excited to launch my line of travel-sized skin sticks in 7 different formulas NEXT MONTH! Goodbye Dry - for itchy dry skin Scatter Brain - for focus Midnight Moon - solid perfume Slumber - for restful sleep Crimson Cure - for menstrual cramps You're Gorgeous - for radiant skin Rainbows - for a boost of happy Each has a combination of high quality essential oils in a base of USDA organic coconut oil, shea butter and all natural beeswax. They apply easy, don't leak in your purse and smell fantastic! These blends are formulated for teens and adults, I hope to have a kids line out in the Spring.
